Tips från "World of Dyslexia"-april 2008
Här två exempel från World of Dyslexia, www.worldofdyslexia.com. "Parents Tout Dyslexia Bill Patricia Reitwiesner was seriously worried about her dyslexic son's difficulties at school. So when she hosted a town hall meeting for state Rep. Mike Merrifield in October, she pulled him aside and asked if there was anything the state could do. That spawned HB1223, a bill that would require the Colorado Department of Education to assist school districts with training in recognizing and dealing with dyslexia.” Hela historien: Klicka här!
"2m UK Children have dyslexia-type difficulties Up to two million children are being let down by the UK government's literacy strategy because it has failed to target the children falling furthest behind, research shows. Only 76,000 children have been recorded as having a learning difficulty and dyslexia groups said it showed that too few pupils are getting specialist teaching. The research is based on screening 1,341 pupils and is funded by the UK Department for Children, Schools and Families."
